  • How do we get children to come?
    • Initially, children can spend all their time playing, dancing, and singing - that is "good enough".
    • The center must be a place they want to come to rather than a place of punishment.
  • Why is play so important?
    • It channelizes energy positively and serves as an "energiser" or "warm-up" for self-regulation.
    • Play helps build healthy relationships, which are the "highway" on which learning is enabled.
  • From play to deeper learning:
    • Play helps improve basic Mathematics and English skills surreptitiously through playful sessions.
