- How do we get children to come?
- Initially, children can spend all their time playing, dancing, and singing - that is "good enough".
- The center must be a place they want to come to rather than a place of punishment.
- Why is play so important?
- It channelizes energy positively and serves as an "energiser" or "warm-up" for self-regulation.
- Play helps build healthy relationships, which are the "highway" on which learning is enabled.
- From play to deeper learning:
- Play helps improve basic Mathematics and English skills surreptitiously through playful sessions.
